About Gabi
Fully trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gabi integrates these evidence-based methods with mindfulness and other trauma-informed techniques to promote resilience, emotional balance, and lasting change.
Gabi also offers psychological testing for ADHD diagnosis and neurofeedback training to help clients reduce symptoms that interfere with focus, clarity, and calm—supporting both brain and emotional regulation.
Her previous clinical experience includes providing trauma-informed counseling for survivors of sexual violence at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville.
During her studies, Gabi served as a Research Assistant for Project Rise, collecting data and maintaining detailed behavioral records within Duval County public middle schools. This research focused on reducing inequalities in school environments and evaluating how interconnected systems frameworks and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) could decrease aggression and improve school-wide mental health.
Before becoming a counselor, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at the Florida Autism Center, supporting children with autism and other developmental disorders while providing parents with education and training to reinforce progress at home.
Gabi believes therapy is a journey toward reconnecting with one’s authentic self—one rooted in safety, awareness, and hope. She is passionate about helping clients move toward healing, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
